THE STORY: Clare Howarth worked in fashion for thirty-five years before transforming this immense family estate near the Chantilly forest into a pretty bed & breakfast with timeless charm. After setting up two bedrooms in the main building, she restored the atelier above the stables and turned it into a 60 m2 loft with independent access and a kitchen corner. Light wooden furniture, vintage lamps, muted tones (powder pink, beige, pale grey), bucolic views of the garden landscaped by Piet Oudolf, breakfast delivered to your room every morning… La Maison et l’Atelier is the perfect spot for a two-person getaway! Double rooms starting at €120 a night, loft €160.
