NUMBER OF ROOMS: 2 houses for 8 guests
ANNUAL CLOSURE: Open year round

THE STORY: There are certain places where time just seems to flow differently… Like at the utterly spellbinding Mas Les Vignes, which is inaugurating the Les Maisons de l’heure vide collection launched by Sofie Sleumer and Michel Mulder, both of whom used to own the D’une île B&B – which is currently run by the Septime team. Located at the foot of Mont Lozère in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, this dreamy, remote spot is composed of two small stone houses dating from the 18th century, with luminous living spaces (waxed concrete floors, vintage furniture) and four charming bedrooms (blonde hardwood floors, exposed rafters, homemade ceramics), all surrounded by windows that look out onto the beautiful landscapes, framing them like paintings. Want more? There’s a small fine foods shop and a wine cellar, where you can get your hands on well-sourced eats and carefully chosen bottles. Everything you need for a lovely vacation… The mas can only be rented in full and reservations are made per week, from saturday to saturday.

TOILETRIES: Malin+Goetz body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner.
BREAKFAST: Not included, but everything you need to make good coffee and a nice breakfast using local products.
LITTLE LUXURY: Going for a dip in the natural pool that’s tucked up against the mas farmhouse, with its crystal-clear waters.
