THE STORY: As if running Moulin wasn’t enough, Marine and Lucas Madani (she’s behind the travel media The Host, he’s co-founder of Hauvette & Madani design studio) have now flung open the doors of Solézane, a charming country house just an hour from Paris, where beauty seems to have taken up permanent residence. To welcome guests with impeccable taste, the couple has thought of absolutely everything: five bedrooms spread across the home’s two wings, with either spacious doubles, bunk beds or a cot for the littlest travelers, all dressed in luxurious Lucas du Tertre linen and paired with equally sleek en-suite bathrooms; a cozy living room with striped curtains and a powder-pink kitchen on the ground floor; plus a family-friendly play den complete with a modular sofa, board games and a video projector – a hideaway where they can spend hours reinventing their own little world. Now picture this: you, curled up by the fire with a good book, the kids tumbling around in the garden, and a pot quietly simmering on the stove, filling the whole house with its fragrant aroma… Got it? The entire house is available from €750 per night, with a minimum two-night stay. · Eddie Muffin
