The conquest of Rue du Dragon, act IV: after opening Le Bar des Prés, Aux Prés and Le Bar, Cyril Lignac is expanding his personal universe with a fourth spot that answers to the sweet name of Dragon – coincidence? And the gourmet chef took the job seriously, enlisting the services of interior designer Jacques Garcia to help immerse customers into a glamorous Sino-boudoir ambiance worthy of the Last Emperor: lacquered scarlet ceilings and walls, thick carpeting, velvet curtains, orientalist hangings, shades of red… A true Forbidden City down to what you find between your chopsticks, as you succumb to luxurious pan-Asian dishes: a delicious baby spinach salad combining chutoro (semi-fatty tuna), yuzu and truffles; an addictive spicy shrimp salad; revisited salmon sushi made with crispy rice, to be devoured like candy; flavor-packed crab summer rolls with a spicy mayonnaise dipping sauce; and langoustine dumplings with an extremely fragrant tom yam sauce (lemongrass, citrus, spices and chili pepper). And to round out this feast, an ultra-comforting mango sticky rice dessert, or homemade ice cream mochi balls. // Albertine Simonet 

FEELING THIRSTY? : A dozen cocktails (including a Thaï Way that combines mezcal, Thai basil, kaffir lime, coconut and amaretto, €18), a few junmai daiginjo sakes (€20 for 100 ml), a house beer (€8 for 330 ml) and a few seriously pricey wines, like the pouilly-fumé from Thibauld Denizot (€16 a glass), or the Saint-Amour produced by Nicolas Cheveau (€80 a bottle).
