Behind the viridian-green door of a handsome town house on 125 Rue Fieffé, a secret restaurant lies hidden – one that also hosts cooking workshops and private dinners. Ring the doorbell and Sabrina Anh welcomes you as if into her own home, revealing a truly singular space: a generous, light-filled dining room opening onto a patio for al-fresco meals, and an open kitchen where deeply personal, family-style Vietnamese cooking takes center stage. The meal kicks off with bánh cuốn, melt-in-the-mouth translucent crepes filled with shitake and wood-ear mushrooms; a textbook thịt kho trứng – juicy, caramelized farm-raised pork served with rice, pickled daikon, sesame red cabbage and an umami-packed splodge of homemade chili paste; before finishing with kem chanh, a vanillary plum compote topped with lemony whipped cream, lime zest and a crunchy salted coconut crumble. Everything is also available to order and take away. · Marcellin Caillou
