A lucky little address on Rue Sainte-Marthe, this café is designed down to the last detail by Camille Da Silva. Think mix’n’match wooden tables and furniture, a ceramic fruit-bowl fountain by Caroline Schmoll perched on the bar, Marimekko teapots and softly glowing fabric lampshades. Coffee comes from Pural (where Camille trained as a barista), pulled as macchiato, cappuccino, cortado, flat white and more, with stylish caffeine-free options alongside: organic chicory coffee, Awachaï chai, golden or matcha latte, and an ultra-indulgent Xoco hot chocolate. When the sun’s out, switch to organic herbal teas, seasonal syrups, homemade ginger shots or a non-alcoholic pet’ nat’ from Cyril Villemonte in the Ardèche. To nibble: homemade tamari-roasted almonds; granola with fromage blanc or coconut-milk yogurt, nut butter and fruit compote; scrambled eggs; plus sweet treats from Merci Mandy, including gluten-free chestnut cake, toasted banana bread, orange cake or vegan carrot cake. · Anna Elisabeth
THE HIDDEN GEM: The four-nut butter (peanut, almond, walnut, hazelnut) served with granola (€8.50) or slathered on toast (€5.50).
