NUMBER OF ROOMS: 33 rooms and 3 attic rooms
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round

THE STORY: After introducing Parisians to the pleasures of speakeasies (Experimental Cocktail Club, Prescription Cocktail Club…), making rare prime rib even more carnal (Beef Club) and ceviche so much hotter (Fish Club), the Experimental team is taking on liberated hotel accommodations… With zero stars on the frontispiece, the Grand Pigalle Hôtel has chosen the hippest neighborhood of the moment to set up shop, and Dorothée Meilichzon (Hôtel des Grands Boulevards) to set the right mood. The classy rooms combine textured wallpaper, woven headboards and brass lamps with lots of little details (mini-bars with everything you need to mix your own cocktails, beds that were made in Normandy, custom designed desks) that will have us rethinking the concept of a “staycation”… What a spot! Rooms starting at €200.

TOILETRIES: Shampoo, conditioner; liquid soap and soap bars made with Scottish lichen, developed in collaboration with Ramdane Touhami from Officine Universelle Buly.
INTERNET: Free (extremely fast wifi).
BREAKFAST: €19, with hot drinks, various breads, homemade tarts and cakes, homemade jam, viennoiseries, homemade granola and muesli, prosciutto, cheeses, eggs, freshly squeezed fruit juices…
MINI-BAR: Bottled cocktails made by the Experimental Cocktail Club, Blanton’s and Nikka whiskies, Fentimans Ginger Beer, Curiosity cola, Tonic water, Fever Tree, Pipers chips, artisanal grilled almonds, Jacques Génin chocolates, a coffee machine with a special house blend.
LITTLE LUXURY: Get driven around in the vintage Citroën DS that’s been painted the house colors.
