NUMBER OF ROOMS: 37 rooms and 3 suites

CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round

THE STORY: Say goodbye to the Hôtel de la Paix and hello to Hôtel Léopold. Under the guidance of the Solanet hotel group, the BP Design agency gave this old Montparnasse joint a facelift, turning it into a chic & cheap inn. You’ll discover wallpaper and floral fabrics pay homage to the Arts and Crafts creations of William Morris, suspension lights with Art Nouveau curves, and custom-made Art Deco-style mirrors… So many calculated nods to the Roaring Twenties that light up the four bedrooms, each decorated in linen and velvet, with marble tables. Double rooms starting at €150 a night.

TOILETRIES: Maison Margiela Replica soap, body wash and shampoo.

INTERNET: Wifi (free).

BREAKFAST: Served in the restaurant (€15), with tea, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked bread, salted butter viennoiseries, artisanal jams and honey, plain or goat’s milk yogurts, fresh fruit salad, homemade granola, boiled eggs, cheeses, charcuterie…

MINI-BAR: Vittel water provided free of charge, and, depending on the rooms, Coca-Cola, fruit juice, electric tea kettle and Mariage Frères teas, along with a Nespresso machine in every suite.

LITTLE LUXURY: It’s a very kid-friendly environment: there’s a magic closet filled with costumes and games for all ages, a babysitting service…
