THE STORY: Smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood village of Pernety, located in Paris’s 14th arrondissement, you’ll find the Hôtel Cabane, the latest addition to the Orso group. There’s a big cozy lounge, an incredible dining room (velvet, a tiled bar, a big wooden communal table) and forty-two sober but cheeky bedrooms spread out over the building’s five floors, furnished via Selency, Wilo & Grove and Galerie Incognito – pale wood furniture, Togo couches, immaculate light fixtures… But the real treasure of this Parisian retreat is hidden way up top, canopy-style: a treehouse of sorts with a faux 1960s California vibe, all dressed in wood, with a king-sized bed and a private garden. Accessible via an outdoor walkway, this small cocoon combines warm colors (camel, sunny yellow, cream…), charming shell-shaped light fixtures from Atelier A, a timeless Butterfly armchair and lovely Berber rugs… It’s the ideal spot for explorers in need of a new expedition! Double rooms starting at €75 a night, cabin starting at €175 a night.

TOILETRIES: Colomba by the Orso group shampoo, body wash and soap.
BREAKFAST: Included, with viennoiseries from the Landemaine bakery, honey from the beekeeper Simon Laurent, artisan jams from Les Confitures de la Création, along with homemade granola, Lomi coffee, Kodama tea and freshly pressed juice.
LITTLE LUXURY: Hanging out in the top floor’s cabin and enjoying a unique moment of peace… in the Japanese bathroom.
