Listen up! At Jules Gahide’s Amigo, the cocktails flow freely, so the evening can go on until very late, with disco, techno and house vibes – especially on the weekends! His signature style? Dishes featuring Mexican and Middle Eastern flavors: spicy burnt feta, smoked celeriac, cacao-miso sauce and smoked apple; crispy zander fried in a curly kale leaf quenched in a lemon dashi broth; and a lovely surprise via Amigo’s signature dish, an orgasmic portobello mushroom tataki with miso sauce; before some matcha ganache, white chocolate, pear and pistachio crumble for a sweet finish. // Bobbi Rossi

FEELING THIRSTY? House cocktails (Amigo with mezcal and hierbas de las dunas liqueur, €12) and mocktails (€7-11), an organic Cahors from the Château du Cèdre (€6.50 a glass), beers (Chouffe on tap at €4.50, Oude Geuze from 3 Fonteinen at €12) and homemade apple ginger ice tea (€3.50).

PRICE: Dips and snacks at the bar €6.50, dishes €7.50 to €14, desserts €8-9.
