It’s the only WAY to go for coffee addicts. Inside this industrial-style shop, roaster Charlene De Buysere (2011 Belgian barista champion and AeroPress world champion the same year) and Ward De Corte have brought together specialty coffees for espressos (Brazilian Yellow Bourbon and Colombian El Caney) and filter coffee (Colombian Mr Lincoln, Indonesian Radiophare), plus all the equipment to brew it at home – Moccamaster sold in all colors, scales and mills. Sip it on the spot or over on the terrace at Way Plantbased Bake House, a few meters away (Jakobijnenstraat 7), with vegan pastries by Norman Willain, including marshmallow cakes and almond millefeuilles. Another WAY location: WAY Shop, Voldersstraat 58, 9000 Ghent. // Bobbi Rossi

THE HIDDEN GEM: The Colombian El Caney with passion fruit, plum and caramel notes, produced with a double natural anaerobic fermentation process (€18.50 for 250g).
