In an industrial part of town where surf shops flourish, there’s a modern “cabana” built out of glass and light-colored wood that stands out from all the rest, boasting a lovely guinguette-style ambiance for local families with their messy beach hair, and local youngsters. All in all, a joyful crowd who come for the excellent house coffee (a shared passion of owners Mélina and Matthieu), but also for the short menu of very fresh mains: opulent focaccia with hummus and seasonal multicolored vegetables (yellow zucchini ribbons, multiple types of pepper, razor-thin slices of radish…); excellent pulled pork buns with bitter cream and dill; made even better with a decadent cookie, a slice of lemon cake, chestnut lava cake or copious amounts of granola over creamy yogurt for dessert. // Jean Pascal

FEELING THIRSTY? Coffees sourced from all over (Ethiopia, Brazil, Guatemala…) and roasted here (€1.50 to €4), Landes Cola (€3) and organic Ipanema IPA (€4.50 for 330 ml).
PRICE: Savory plates €5.50 to €10, pastries €3-6.
