This is the place to be in the Pédebert part of town! A hangar that’s been given a cool new look, combining vintage details and industrial light fixtures. It’s the brick-and-mortar version of the Beachfood adventure, which began in 2017 as a food truck, the final iteration of which is parked next door. Tested for you the day we went for lunch, chosen from the organic and locally-sourced menu: dellllicious flash-seared octopus that was achingly tender, paired with slow-roasted figs and a piquillo pepper coulis. In addition to that? Some beautiful buns: an organic potato bun (filled with smashed blonde d’Aquitaine beef, aged English cheddar, smoked bacon, caramelized and pickled onions, homemade ketchup and a touch of mustard), plus AOP chicken or veggie buns, burritos, beef tataki… Not to mention the incredible dessert, coffee tiramisu. At night, Le Spot morphs into a pizza joint, serving things like the Capo Mannu pizza, topped with organic tomatoes, fior di latte, arugula, Parma ham aged for 14 months, stracciatella and balsamic. // Gérard Roubeix
