A pioneer of living wines in Marseille, Sabine Robert isn’t done impressing naturophiles! Backed up by the golden palate of Laurent Bonfiglio, the boss of the wine shop Plus Belle La Vigne has forged close ties with prestigious winemakers over the years – so much so that beautiful wines seem to rain down, as the prices rise! A sampling of lovely bottles to collect from among the 450 house references: Sels d’argent, a Rhone white from Éric Pfifferling (€38 a bottle), I Vicini, a 20107 Savoie wine from Jean-Yves Péron (€35), a Saint-Joseph from Dard et Ribo (€54)… Not to mention the beautiful artisan Champagnes (Ruppert-Leroy, Val Frison, Vouette & Sorbée), the ciders from elsewhere (like this Andalou La Ragua de Fuenta Guijarro for €24), and the boxed wines for big gatherings with friends – including VinoCblanc, a Roussillon wine from the Domaine Vinocéros (€32 for 3 liters). // A.A.

The bullet-proof bottle: Maximus, an Aveyron Fer-Servadou from Nicolas Carmarans.
