It’s a little stinky on Rue des Poissonniers, but in a good way! Why, you ask? Because of the urban, eco-friendly creamery owned by Pierre Coulon, who, after having traveled around as a goat herder outside of Nantes, migrated towards the French capital. There, located between Montmartre and the Goutte-d’Or neighborhood, he now produces dairy products and joyful cheeses thanks to cows in Île-de-France and Normandy. Grab some of the following in the tiny shop while watching everything get made in the atelier behind the windows: yuzu, halva or candied chestnut fontainebleau, depending on the season; pimped out burratas, like this one paired with cherries, roasted almonds and thyme; entirely homemade “halum” inspired by Cypriot halloumi; incredibly fresh goat cheese with za’atar; CBD-infused raclette; brie sprinkled with pistachios, apricots and basil… and even a real smelly Normandy cheese, made with raw milk and hand-ladled by La Laiterie, which brought a Camembert dairy in 2021!// Élina Pavik

The hidden gem: The goat cheese of the moment, an ephemeral creation that brings together flavors like mint and kumquat or pine and lime (€6.50 a piece).
