Looking for a club where you can fight your hunger pangs? Here, the glutenous treats really pack a punch! In the bustling Faubourg Saint-Denis neighborhood, which already boasts an abundance of indulgent eateries including Dumbo, Dogma, Zinga, Özlem and Urfa Dürüm, the two-toned storefront of this Dwich Club, the latest from the Musa crew, promises a quick bite to eat done right – which you can wolf down standing up, under the watchful eyes of friends Simon Guindeuil and Dylan Bourgeat. Ordered at one of the XXL kiosks rather than out loud the day we went, we opted for one of the incredible sandwiches of the moment, featuring extremely tender pork belly, pickled mustard seeds, chilies, lettuce, red onions, tarragon and cilantro, all stuffed into a plump and flavorful potato bun; but the very fresh combo of raw zucchini, sorrel-peanut pesto, whipped stracciatella, mint and herb salad also knocked out our taste buds… even though it could have used a little more acidity to balance out all those rich flavors. What about the sides? There are some really nice fries that don’t feel overly greasy, served with aioli for dipping, or falafel with tartar sauce… and a cookie to round the whole thing out, if you’re somehow still hungry for more. // Maria Mariaux

FEELING THIRSTY? : Chilled homemade beverages (perfectly balanced bissap or litchi and pandan iced tea, €3.50 each) and a La Parisienne pilsner (€5 for 330 ml).
PRICE: : Set menu menu €11.90 (sandwich + side + drink), sandwiches €8.40 to €10.90, fries €2.50, accras €5.90, cookies €2.80.
